Teaching

I have taught various courses at the graduate and undergraduate level at Tilburg University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Amsterdam University College. Syllabi and evaluations are included from my most recent courses. Please feel free to use (and provide feedback on) them.

Graduate Level Courses:

  • Tilburg University’s Research Master: Social Cognition (syllabus/evaluations). This course was second best course in the Tilburg School of Behavioral Sciences Two Year Master’s Program twice.
  • Tilburg University’s Applied Master: Applied Social Psychology (syllabus/evaluations). This course was the best course in the Tilburg School of Behavioral Sciences’ One Year Master’s Program once, and second best twice.

Furthermore, I served as the Interpersonal Processes track coordinator for the Dutch national Ph. D. Institute in Social Psychology (the Kurt Lewin Institute) between 2010 – 2016. During this time, we organized research workshops with world-renowned researchers in the area of interpersonal processes, such as Jim Coan, Harry Reis, Julianne Holt-Lunstad, Alan Fiske, Ursula Hess, Harriet Over, and Leaf van Boven. From time to time I also teach on specific topics abroad (e.g., in Switzerland, Italy, or Portugal).
